There is only a little more time to provide feedback on this month's consultations. The following consultations close tomorrow for general public response.
Children's Policy
This new policy confirms Council's commitment as a Child Friendly City. It is a unique policy that was written in partnership with children and schools.
Do we have it right?
Please let us know what you think so we can make this policy relevant for young children in the Council area.

By-law Review 2023
The following Council By-Laws expire on 31 December 2023.

By-Law No 1 – Permits & Penalties
Provides a permit system for the Council’s by-law suite. -
By-Law No 2 – Moveable Signs
Sets standards for moveable signs on roads, including conditions and placement of signs, to protect public safety and protect/enhance amenity of the area. -
By-Law No 3 – Roads
For the management of public roads. -
By-Law No 4 – Local Government Land
For the management and regulation of Council land including prohibition and regulation of particular activities. -
By-Law No 5 – Dogs
For the management and control of dogs within the Council area.
Council has endorsed revised By-Laws for public consultation. As required by legislation, the Dog and Cat Management Board has reviewed proposed By-Law No 5 – Dogs and endorsed the document.

Upcoming Projects - Save the Date
Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget
Council will consider endorsing the Draft 2023/2024 Annual Business Plan and Budget for public consultation at its meeting next week.
The consultation is scheduled to commence on Thursday 4 May and we encourage you to check into connect2.campbelltown.sa.gov.au after midday on Thursday to find out how you can get involved and provide feedback.
Coffee Chat
Our next Coffee Chat is on Wednesday 24 May (at 10.30am - 11.30am) at Café Settebello, 84 Newton Rd, Campbelltown.
Come along and chat to the Mayor and Staff about your ideas, suggestions or concerns over a cuppa. There will also be an opportunity to provide your thoughts on the Draft 2023/2024 Annual Business Plan.
Consultation Outcome
Following consultation with the Community, Council recently adopted a revised Community Land Management Plan.
Thank you to those participants that responded to the consultation.
Finally, we wish to advise that our principal Community Engagement Officer, Alyssa has departed Council for a career change. We thank Alyssa for her tireless efforts, supporting the Community and working on 25 consultations during the 18 months she worked for us.
