Strategic Plan - Share Your Ideas survey

Have you completed this survey yet?

We look forward to receiving your ideas regarding how to make Campbelltown an even greater place to live, work, visit or recreate as this will help Elected Members and Staff start to build the direction for our next Strategic Plan.

Get involved to win a $50 Why Leave Campbelltown voucher!

The consultation closes at 4pm, Friday 1 September 2023.

Magill Community Battery Lease

We are seeking your feedback regarding whether we should provide a 15 year lease on Community Land at Tuku Wirra Reserve for a community battery.

Community batteries store excess renewable energy generated during the day from the electricity grid for use when demand (and cost) is high. It is intended that this community battery will then deliver renewable energy at the cheapest residential electricity rate in South Australia to Housing SA homes in Magill and its surrounds.

Find out more and tell us what you think of the proposal by completing a survey, or sending an email or letter, by 4pm Friday 1 September 2023.

Community Engagement Outcomes

The outcomes from two consultations will be reported to Council at its meeting on Tuesday15 August 2023. Further information about these consultations is available below. To review the outcomes of the consultation and Staff's subsequent recommendations, check out the Council agenda (should be available Friday morning).

1. Draft Children's Policy

Earlier this year Council conducted consultation for a draft Children's Policy that had been created in partnership with local school children. The Policy recognises the value of all children aged 0-11 years of age in the Council area.

Whilst only a small number of responses were received, Staff appreciate the considered and thoughtful feedback provided by Community members to help prepare the document for further consideration by Council.

2. Policy Review (Batch 3)

Recently we conducted consultation on the following policies:

The full results of this consultation and further proposed changes to the policies are being reported back to Council for consideration.
