Asset Management Plans (AMPs) guide the renewal and maintenance of Council assets. They determine an appropriate level of service and ensure their delivery to the community is financially sustainable over the long term.

What’s being proposed?

Council is seeking feedback on the revised Plans for Stormwater, Bridges and Building Assets. Community feedback is also sought on a new Asset Management Plan for Information Technology.

The Plan for each asset was drafted with reference to:

  • current condition
  • levels of service
  • expected future demand
  • asset management practices
  • risk management
  • maintenance and renewal costs

These Plans ensure Council can maintain its assets at a defined standard and keep track of which assets need to be replaced and when, including the estimated cost of their replacement. The annual cost estimates also inform Council’s Long Term Financial Plan.

How you can get involved

You are invited to provide feedback in one of the following ways:

  • Preferably online via the survey available at this LINK.
  • Download, print and return a hardcopy survey.
  • Send an email: mail@campbelltown.sa.gov.au with the subject: “Draft Asset Management Plans”
  • Write a letter addressed to: Community Engagement Officer, Campbelltown City Council, PO Box 1, Campbelltown SA 5074

All feedback must be received by 4pm Wednesday 31 July 2024
