Help shape the future of housing in Campbelltown
Campbelltown is a popular place to live, visit, work, play and study. Our City is growing and changing, and many people want to call Campbelltown home through life’s different stages.
The popularity of our council area places pressure on housing availability and affordability. At the same time household needs are changing, and some communities are experiencing the impacts of new housing in existing neighbourhoods.
This is all happening at a time when the State Government has developed the Greater Adelaide Regional Plan. The plan identifies the need for more housing across Greater Adelaide over the next 30 years. Campbelltown is expected to play a role in meeting this need. In response, Council has prepared a Draft Local Housing Strategy - with four key goals:
Improved Housing Affordability
Liveable and Climate-Ready Housing
Housing for All Ages and Abilities
The Right Housing in the Right Places
