Consultation has concluded
During January/February 2022, Council undertook a closed consultation regarding a proposal to install raised central medians with landscaping to improve the aesthetic and environmental aspects of this area. The 147 residents/ratepayers directly impacted by the proposal were invited to provide feedback.
Seventeen participants from 16 households advised Council of their thoughts about the proposal. Residents predominantly raised concerns about the proposal as shown in the spatial representation below.
As a result of this outcome, Council resolved not to proceed with the project as per the proposal, however for staff to investigate further options for greening between Moseley Road and Newton Road.
