Consultation has concluded
Local residents living within 300m of the Gums Reserve, Tranmere, received a Council letter during the week commencing 1 November 2021. The letter provided an opportunity to provide feedback on a proposed bicycle track at the Gums Reserve. Consultation closed on Tuesday 23 November.
On 21 December 2021 Council considered the outcomes of community engagement. After thorough consideration, Council resolved not to proceed with the creation of a small dirt bike track at the previously supported Gums Reserve location and requested that Staff explore alternative locations for a bike track for Council consideration (including exploring the option of utilising a portable track).

On 7 June 2022, Council supported the northern end of Daly Oval as its preferred location to trial the establishment of a small Dirt Bicycle Track.
