Paradise Recreation Plaza - Construction Phase

Update - August 2023

With the backdrop of gum trees lining River Torrens Linear Park / Karrawirra Parri framing the new Paradise Recreation Plaza site, it really is one of the most picturesque places for this fantastic new recreation space. The new Paradise Recreation Plaza will cater for all ‘humans on wheels’ and those that like to be active.

Check out the updated final Masterplan to see the overall design of the site.

Construction is well underway with CONVIC onsite building the formwork for the skate elements and you can see the skate area really taking shape.

We can’t wait to officially open the new Paradise Recreation Plaza in early 2024!

Update - May 2023

The skate park is now closed for demolition and construction.

Council is planning a $3m redevelopment of the existing Paradise Skate Park to a Recreation Plaza. Council has allocated funding for the development of the Paradise Recreation Plaza in 2022/2023 with commencement of the build now underway.
