Project Update Summary (December 2021)

Donald Street Reserve Playground resides in a small park in Campbelltown. It has a shade structure and is suitable for toddlers, pre-school and school aged children. A picnic table and a grassed area for running around or kicking a ball surrounds the playground.
Background
Donald Street Playground is a well presented playground and used by the local Community. Recent Community profiling in the area indicated that there were more than 2,000 families in the area and over 1,300 children from 0 – 14 years.
This playground is one of Council’s older playgrounds nearing its end of life cycle so it is an exciting opportunity to review what would be most valued in this location.
Stage 1 Consultation provided the Community with multiple opportunities to discuss what is possible and what can be considered to in an upgrade to Donald Street Playground. Stage 1 consultation closed on 25 January 2021.
