The Draft Waste and Resource Recovery Strategy 2030 represents Campbelltown Council’s first comprehensive approach to waste and resource recovery. It has been designed to guide how Council and the Community work together over the next five years by providing a roadmap to better environmental, economic and social outcomes in resource recovery and waste management.

The Draft Strategy outlines Council’s current waste services and sets a baseline for future improvements. It highlights emerging trends and future challenges and incorporates insights from recent community engagements. The Draft Strategy also presents a shared vision, guiding principles for decision-making and prioritisation, as well as short-term goals, targets, and key focus areas to drive meaningful action.
