Connect 2 Campbelltown - Community Engagement Outcomes & FOUR Consultations open now!
Whilst the year may be winding down our consultation program continues in full swing as we approach the Christmas closure.
Consultation outcomes
At its meeting tonight, Council will consider the outcomes of two consultation projects:
- Creating Our Community Heart (Community Hub); and
- Rostrevor Tennis Club Redevelopment
The Community Engagement Outcomes reports are available from the agendas and minutes page on the Council website.
You are welcome to come and observe proceedings (the meeting starts from 7pm). As we have 14 deputations this evening and these people will be using the reserved seating in the Council Chambers, please note that you will need to sit in the meeting rooms and watch proceedings on the TV Screen if you are attending. Alternatively, you may wish to listen to the debate on our audio link for the relevant items (should be available from Friday via the same link as above).
Contract Management Policy | Campbelltown Council Transport Plan (Northern Section
Council considered the community engagement outcomes reports for both of these projects at its 4 November Council meeting.
The Contract Management Policy was adopted the policy with minor changes influenced by the Community. The new Contract Management Policy is available from our website.
Following two stages of consultation and considerable work by Staff in partnership with a consultant, Council adopted the Campbelltown Council Transport Plan (Northern Section). This Plan will now be considered further in relation to the Southern Section Plan to ensure that both documents align and provide appropriate service provision to our community.

New Consultations
Two new consultations have commenced today:
Padel Sports at Foxfield Oval - have you heard of Padel? Neither had we until this project opportunity arose at Council. Learn more about this fast-growing sport and have your say about potential establishment of the sport at Foxfield Oval.
Hambledon Hub Development - tell us what you think of plans for a brand-new community facility in the heart of the suburb of Campbelltown. The proposed location at 34a Hambledon Road, Campbelltown (site of the old Campbelltown Kindergarten) would provide opportunities for community members of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to connect, learn, share, and thrive.
These two consultations will run across the Christmas and New Year break, through until 4pm, Friday 23 January 2026.
Something for everyone so we hope this newsletter has piqued your interest!
