Connect 2 Campbelltown Newsletter - Open Space Strategy and Transport Plan consultations + ABP&B engagement outcomes
Hello!
We hope you are staying warm as winter descends on us! Read on to stay in the loop with the latest community consultation news.
Draft Open Space Strategy consultation now open
We’ve created a Draft Open Space Strategy for nearly 400 hectares of Council-managed land - and we need your feedback.
With close to 70 parks and reserves, 64 playgrounds, three community gardens, one community orchard and 20 kilometres of creek line, there’s a lot for Council to care for. Our Draft Open Space Strategy provides a framework for the planning, development, management and use of these areas over the next 10 years and beyond.
Find out more at Connect2 Campbelltown where you can review the Strategy then share your thoughts by completing the online survey or uploading a video submission. Consultation closes 4pm Monday 14 July.
What do you think of the Draft Transport Plan initiatives?
- Should Council investigate 40 km/hr speed limits in parts of Campbelltown and Paradise?
- What do you think of the proposed new bicycle parking at the Paradise O-Bahn interchange?
- Do you agree with the suggested pedestrian crossing locations?
There's still time to tell us what you think of these and other initiatives proposed in the Draft Transport Plan for Athelstone, Campbelltown and Athelstone.
Discover all the details including how to submit your feedback at this LINK. Consultation closes 4pm, Monday 30 June.
