We are seeking your views on a Draft Policy we have prepared for managing our contracts.

Background

Each year, Council Staff liaise with suppliers to deliver contracts of varied sizes and timeframes.

Contracts for the supply of goods, services and works often require Staff to undertake actions to protect Council’s interests (eg supply of goods and services, collection of fees, maintenance of current insurance certificates).

Council recently identified a need to develop a Contract Management Policy to improve guidance to Staff with responsibility for managing and executing Contracts.
