This project was endorsed on 20 August 2024 as a major project in Council’s Long Term Financial Plan and in line with this adopted in the 2025/2026 Annual Business Plan (ABP).

What’s included in the Building Concept Plan?
The concept plan includes the demolition of the existing building and public toilet and the development of a new purpose-built building.
The new building would be shifted further East, have an approximate floor area of 260 m2, and would incorporate a unisex accessible public toilet within the building footprint, however still accessible to the public. This would in turn provide additional open space in the reserve.
